Obama Hates White People?
According to news reports, Maine’s Republican Tea Party (GOTP) Governor Paul LePage has told a fellow group of Republicans that President Barack Obama “hates white people”.
Yep, no racism here, move along citizens.
“Yeah, he said it,” one GOTP lawmaker is quoted as saying, by-the-way requesting anonymity out of fear of payback. “It was one little thing from a speech, but I think most people there thought it was totally inappropriate.”
But wait sports fans, this isn’t the only time LePage has made stupid remarks, in 2010 he said wouldn’t be afraid to tell Obama to “go to hell;” while in 2011 he reportedly declined to attend an NAACP event, saying the group could “kiss my butt” if it didn’t like his decision.
Yes sir citizens, nothing to see here, just one more obtuse conservative with broken mouth syndrome.
Umbrellagate – one more nothing from the lips of white bread conservatives
This week another scandal reared its ugly head in right-wing world – the President of the United States demonstrated yet again his utter disdain for America’s fighting men when he had the unmitigated gall to ask U.S. Marines to hold umbrellas for himself and the Prime Minister of Turkey.
“No other President would ever so blatantly disrespect an American in uniform”, they cried; oh really?
How about two Presidents, both conservative, father and son, at the same time?
Fact is there’s nothing wrong, or disrespectful, with Marines or Soldiers holding an umbrella for their Commander-in-Chief, and only a moron, who doesn’t understand military protocol would ever think so.
You say you want a revolution?
According to a recent poll by Fairleigh Dickinson University’s PublicMind, nearly 30% of Americans polled believe an armed rebellion will soon be necessary; of course, the poll also found almost 25 percent of these geniuses believe the American public’s being lied to about the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting by people seeking to promote a political agenda.
The poll was conducted between 22-28 April surveying 863 randomly selected registered voters across the country and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.4 percentage points.
One doesn’t have to go far to determine why a quarter of Americans polled think the second American Revolution is near, a recent Public Policy Polling poll reported 34% of Americans think FOX News is the network they trust the most; coincidence? I think not.
When a network makes its money by proffering up a non-stop litany of doom, gloom and conspiracy the natural result would be it would start to stick; problem is these are the same yahoos showing up at Tea Party rallies brandishing assault rifles and carrying signs declaring the need to “water the tree of liberty”. What used to be the staple of short wave radio is now the red meat of the far-right, and is portrayed on FOX as news. The mantra “we report, you decide” is fast becoming “we fabricate, you believe”.
