Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 20 Dec 11 Edition

A new ABC News/Wash Post poll conducted 15 – 18 Dec 11 gives President Obama one of the highest approval ratings since this past summer; of adults polled 49% approve of the President’s job performance as compared to 47% disapproval; conversely, a CBS News poll conducted 5 – 7 Dec 11 shows Congressional job approval at 11% – not good news for the Republican Tea Party (GOTP) controlled House moving into an election year.

Concerning the ongoing GOTP nominating circus, a new ABC News/Wash Post poll of registered voters conducted from 15 – 18 Dec 11 has been released and the current poll results are:

Newton Leroy Gingrich and Mittens Romney are tied at 30; Ronny Paul 15; Michele “Krazy” Bachmann 7; Reverend Rick Perry 6; Ricky “The Ric” Santorum 4 and Jon “I can’t believe it’s not butter” Huntsman 2

The GOTP clown car continues to spin wildly down the campaign trail with Newton holding on to what appears to be an ever shrinking lead over Bridesmaid Mittens; Paul’s gaining in third while Krazy moves back into a distant fourth and Reverend Perry hopefully is beginning his final plunge; Huntsman falls back to bottom-dwelling mud sucker status while Santorum begins to once again float to the top of this political cesspool.

Ron Paul surges further ahead of the pack in Iowa where a new Insider Advantage poll of likely voters conducted 18 Dec 11 reports Paul 24; Romney 18; Perry 16; Gingrich 13; Bachmann 10; Huntsman 4 and Santorum 3

Romney regains solid lead in New Hampshire where the PPP (D) poll of likely voters conducted 16 – 18 Dec 11 shows Mittens 35; Paul 19; Gingrich 17; Huntsman 13; Bachmann 5; Santorum 3 and Perry 2

Newton holds on In South Carolina where the latest Clemson poll of likely voters conducted 6 – 19 Dec 11 find Gingrich 38; Romney 21; Paul 10; Perry and Bachmann 5; Huntsman 3 and Santorum 2

Newton remains in the lead for now in Florida where the new NBC News/Marist poll of likely voters conducted on 04 – 07 Dec 11 has Gingrich 44; Romney 29; Paul 8; Perry 4; Bachmann and Huntsman 3; Santorum 2

In the four states with the lead off primaries – or caucuses – Gingrich leads in two, Paul in one and Mittens in one …

Concerning how the GOTP “candidates stack up against the President; according to a USA Today/Gallup poll of likely voters conducted 15 – 18 Dec 11, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 50/Romney 48

An ABC News/Wash Post poll of likely voters conducted 15 – 18 Dec 11, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 51/Gingrich 43

So, if the GOTP clown car had finally stopped spinning, and the general election was held today, Newton Leroy Gingrich or Mittens Romney may have been the GOTP nominee, but either would’ve lost to President Obama.

In Iowa, a new Rasmussen Reports poll of likely voters conducted 12 Dec 11: Romney 23; Gingrich 20; Paul 18; Perry 10; Bachmann 9; Santorum 6 and Huntsman 5

Now we know which candidate the old guard of the GOP wants, because whomever Rasmussen puts on top is whom those in “power” want.

President Obama 42/Romney 43

President Obama 49/Gingrich 39

So, if the GOTP clown car had finally stopped spinning, and the general election was held today, Newton Leroy Gingrich would be the GOTP nominee, but he would’ve lost huge to President Obama.

So, the GOTP version of the Island of Misfit Candidates labors on with Newton holding on to what appears to be shrinking lead over Bridesmaid Mittens; but that news isn’t good for Mittens as the other GOTP candidates all climbed a little higher this week; Paul is gaining in third tied now with Reverend Perry while Krazy’s prediction may be coming true with at least some of Herman Cain’s former followers “going home to her”; Huntsman has his biggest leap thus far in the polls moving up to 5% while Santorum continues at the bottom.

In Florida, the new NBC News/Marist poll of likely voters conducted on 04 – 07 Dec 11: Gingrich 44; Romney 29; Paul 8; Perry 4; Bachmann and Huntsman 3; Santorum 2

In the four states with the lead off primaries – or caucuses – Gingrich leads big with 3 states and over Romney’s 1 …

Concerning how the GOTP “candidates stack up against the President; according to a NBC News/Wall St. Jrnl poll of likely voters conducted 07 – 11 Dec 11, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 47/Romney 45

President Obama 51/Gingrich 40

So, if the GOTP clown car had finally stopped spinning, and the general election was held today, Newton Leroy Gingrich would be the GOTP nominee, but he would’ve lost huge to President Obama.

The GOTP version of the Island of Misfit Candidates continues with Newton holding on to his lead over Bridesmaid Mittens; Paul is holding steady as a distant third; still waiting on Krazy’s prediction to come true with Cain’s followers “going home to her”; Reverend Ricky, continues to drop away and out of view, while Santorum and Huntsman maintain their bottom dwelling mud sucker status.

In Iowa, a new CNN/Time poll of likely voters conducted 29 Nov – 6 Dec 11: Gingrich 33; Romney 20; Paul 17; Perry 9; Bachmann 7; Santorum 5 and Huntsman 1

In New Hampshire, the CNN/Time poll of likely voters conducted 29 Nov – 6 Dec 11: Mittens 35; Gingrich 26; Paul 17; Huntsman 8; Bachmann 3; Perry and Santorum 2

In the five states with the lead off primaries – or caucuses – Gingrich leads big with 3 states and a probable 4th over Romney’s 2 and very likely 1 …

Concerning how the GOTP “candidates stack up against the President; according to a Rasmussen Reports poll of likely voters conducted 30 Nov – 01 Dec 11, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 42/Romney 40

According to a Rasmussen Reports poll of likely voters conducted 06 – 07 Dec 11, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 45/Gingrich 40

So, if the GOTP clown car had finally stopped spinning, and the general election was held today, Newton Leroy Gingrich would be the GOTP nominee, but he would’ve lost to President Obama.

The GOTP version of the Island of Misfit Candidates continues with Newton gaining a commanding lead over Bridesmaid Mittens and the Pizza Man beginning to burn up on re-entry; Reverend Ricky, Paul and Krazy all continue to drop like the stone in the well, while Huntsman maintains his bottom dwelling mud sucker status as Santorum continues to just sit and basically not go up or down. No one has scored this significant of a lead over the pack – ever, and considering it’s the uber-conservative Rasmussen polling organization this should be a huge concern for Mittens who went running to Texas today to plead for help from Bush 41.

In the five states with the lead off primaries – or caucuses – Gingrich leads big over Romney 3 – 2

Concerning how the GOTP “candidates stack up against the President; according to a Rasmussen Reports poll of likely voters conducted 21 – 22 Nov 11, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 44/Romney 38

According to a Rasmussen Reports poll of likely voters conducted 19 – 20 Nov 11, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 46/Gingrich 40

So, if the GOTP clown car had finally stopped spinning, and the general election was held today, Newton Leroy Gingrich would be the nominee, and he would’ve lost to President Obama.

The GOTP version of The Awful Truth continues to play out with Newton taking the lead, followed by the Pizza Man with the Bridesmaid Mittens in third; Reverend Ricky, Paul and Krazy round out the middle of the pack, while Huntsman appears to be starting a slow climb as Santorum continues to glide as a bottom dwelling mud sucker.

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 08 Nov 11 Edition

A new NBC News/Wall St. Jrnl poll conducted 02 – 06 Nov 11 has been released concerning the Republican Tea Party (GOTP) nominating circus; the current poll results are:

Herman “Pizza Man” Cain 21; Mittens Romney 21; Newter Gingrich 12; Reverend Rick Perry 11; Ronny Paul 8; Michele “Krazy” Bachmann 3; Ricky “The Ric” Santorum 2 and Jon “I can’t believe it’s not butter” Huntsman 1 …

The GOTP Catch 22 continues virtually neck-n-neck between the Pizza Man Mittens with very little change in spite of Cain’s apparent serial groping. Reverend Ricky and Newter continue to change places week after week; Paul is in stable condition in the middle of the frenzy while Krazy’s hanging in her rubber room of political purgatory continuing to teeter on the edge of unknown status now only one small point above Huntsman and Santorum.

In Iowa, a new Insider Advantage poll conducted 03 Nov 11: Cain 30; Romney 15; Gingrich 12; Paul 9; Bachmann 8; Perry 6; Huntsman 2 and Santorum 0 …

In New Hampshire, the CNN/Time poll conducted 20 – 25 Oct 11: Mittens 40; Cain 17; Paul 11; Gingrich 8; Huntsman 7; Perry 4; Bachmann 4 and Santorum 1 …

In South Carolina, the Rasmussen Reports poll conducted 01 Nov 11: Cain 33; Romney 23; Gingrich 15; Perry 9; Paul 5; Bachmann 2; Huntsman 1 and Santorum 1 …

In Florida, the Suffolk/7News poll conducted from 26 – 30 Oct 11: Romney 25; Cain 24; Gingrich 11; Perry 9; Paul 5; Huntsman 2; Bachmann and Santorum 1 …

In Nevada, the PPP (D) poll conducted from 20 – 23 Oct 11: Romney 29; Cain 28; Gingrich 15; Paul 7; Perry 6; Bachmann 3; Huntsman and Santorum 2 …

In the five states with the lead off primaries – or caucuses – Romney continues to hold onto a narrow lead over Cain 3-2 – but barely; Cain, although tied now with Romney, continues to hang in there nationally.

Concerning how the GOTP “candidates stack up against the President; according to the above mentioned NBC News/Wall St. Jrnl poll, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 49/Romney 43

President Obama 53/Cain 38

Rasmussen Reports conducted 05 – 06 Nov 11:

President Obama 44/Perry 35

President Obama 44/Gingrich 38

As always, no one else matters because none of the remaining candidates will ever win the GOTP nomination – on the bright side, they’re still providing entertainment …

So, if the GOTP clown car had finally stopped spinning, and the general election was held today, the Pizza Man or Mittens would be the nominee, and once again would’ve lost to President Obama.

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 02 Nov 11 Edition

A new Quinnipiac poll conducted 13 – 31 Oct 11 (before Herman Cain’s sexual harassment storm appeared on the horizon) has been released concerning the Republican Tea Party (GOTP) nominating circus; the current poll results are:

Herman “Pizza Man” Cain 30; Mittens Romney 23; Newter Gingrich 10; Reverend Rick Perry 8; Ronny Paul 7; Michele “Krazy” Bachmann 4; Jon “I can’t believe it’s not butter” Huntsman 2 and Ricky “The Ric” Santorum 1

The GOTP Little Shop of Horrors continues and the Pizza Man’s lead in the polls (at least temporarily) has expanded nationally, making Mittens no doubt apoplectic. Reverend Ricky appears to have achieved a small bounce, but he’s running fourth behind Newter; Paul is in stable condition in the middle of the frenzy while Krazy’s hanging in her rubber room of political purgatory continuing to teeter on the edge of unknown status two points above Huntsman and Santorum.

In Iowa, a new Des Moines Register poll conducted 23 – 26 Oct 11: Cain 23; Romney 22; Paul 12; Bachmann 8; Gingrich 7; Perry 7; Santorum 5 and Huntsman 1 …

In the five states with the lead off primaries – or caucuses – Romney leads Cain 3-2 – but barely; Cain continues to lead nationally, and if he can maintain his momentum it will become harder and harder for Romney to pull off the nomination – I’m still sticking with my thought that it’s highly doubtful Cain can stay on top, especially now with his “sexual harassment” allegations – but that may actually propel him higher in the polls with GOTP hardliners who are buying the explanation for the likes of Hannity and Coulter that it’s a vast left wing conspiracy; coupled with the Mormon factor amongst Evangelical Christians and Mitt may find himself being the bride’s maid yet again.

Concerning how the GOTP “candidates stack up against the President; according to the above mentioned Quinnipiac poll, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 47/Romney 42

President Obama 43/Cain 38

President Obama 52/Perry 36

President Obama 52/Gingrich 37

As always, no one else matters because none of the remaining candidates will ever win the GOTP nomination – on the bright side, they’re still providing entertainment …

So, if the GOTP clown car had finally stopped spinning, and the general election was held today, the Pizza Man would still be the GOTP candidate, and once again he would have lost to President Obama.
