Paul’s desire to end NSA data collection is something I can agree with 100%, but he doesn’t need to lie about where the program came from to get the job done. That’s being political, and it cheapens what he is trying to achieve.

    Such reasoning is deserving of a name…oh, wait, it’s the “Blame Obama For Everything” cause! I suppose, because the War Between The States was begun in 1861–a mere century, to the year, before our current POTUS was born–it was Obama’s fault it was fought, too, is that so, Senator Rand? You are not a historian, you may be, you tell us, an eye doctor, but as a Senator, you should know these facts about our government before you take office. You should especially be cognizant of the current events that are the things we are living with today and affect our lives at the moment before you spout off about them. Go back to class and take it again, Sir, you have not passed the course.

    I’m pretty sure he’s referring to an extension of the Patriot Act. Wasn’t it initiated under George W. Bush?
