Thirty-five days to go until Election Day and Vice President Joe Biden continues pounding Donald Trump in all current polling. Tonight is the first debate between Biden and Trump, and the N.Y. Times has published bombshell stories that Trump is $432,000,000 in debt and has managed to keep from paying taxes for more than 20 years. So, is he the worse businessman ever, or a massive tax cheat? The world is still spiraling downward through the covid-19 pandemic, with more than 7,159,222 confirmed cases in the United States and more than 205,345 deaths all. At the same time, Trump continues to hold his Nuremberg rallies packed with moronic supporters ignoring social distancing and not wearing masks. He continues playing golf as Americans continue to die, and it has been revealed that Trump has referred to American war dead as being “suckers and losers.”
So, with 35 days until November 3rd, where do we stand?
In national polling, the latest USC Dornslife Poll, conducted 15-28 September 2020 of 5,260 likely voters, has the race lining up like this:
Biden 51%
Trump 43%
According to the Morning Consult Poll, conducted 25-27 September 2020, of 12,965 likely voters:
Biden 51%
Trump 44%
In the Monmouth University Poll, conducted from 24-27 September 2020 of 809 registered voters:
Biden 50%
Trump 44%
As far as the national race for the White House is concerned, according to recent state polling data available, if the election was today, odds are that Vice President Joe Biden would be the 46th president of the United States. In contrast, Trump, who forever remains the third impeached president in U.S. history, will go down as one of the decidedly low-grade persons to ever sit in the Oval Office.
