The former Vice-president continues to lead Trump by double digits on the final day for votes to be cast in the 2020 campaign. The country continues spiking upward with covid-19 cases with more than 9,270,711 Americans confirmed to have contracted the virus, with more than 231,353 deaths. Trump continues proclaiming himself “immune” to covid, and even though the country is in the midst of a huge spike, Trump continues to claim the country has “turned the corner.” Trump continues attacking medical experts and scientists as well as holding his Nuremberg super-spreader rallies without requiring masks or social distancing. Trump continues trying to paint Joe Biden as somehow not being fit for office because he would “listen to the scientists.”

So, with the big day finally here, where do we stand?

In national polling, according to the latest USC Dornsife Poll, conducted 19 October to 01 November 2020, of 5,382 likely voters:
