Latest 2020 Presidential Polls – 13 October 2020

Twenty-one days, three weeks, to go until Election Day and Vice President Joe Biden continues pounding Donald Trump in all current polling. Polls taken after the Vice-presidential debate show Biden with a double digit lead over Trump. The world continues spiraling downward through the covid-19 pandemic with more than 7,817,863 confirmed cases in the United States, including Trump and his wife, as well as three GOP Senators, and more than 215,355 deaths. Trump thinks he’s Superman proclaiming himself “immune” to covid. In spite of having contracted covid-19, Trump is holding his Nuremberg rallies again and continues to assert the disease is no worse than the flu.

So, with a mere 21 days until November 3rd, where do we stand?

In national polling, according to the latest USC Dornslife Poll, conducted 29 September – 12 October 2020, of 5,089 likely voters:

Biden 51%
Trump 42%

The latest IBD/TIPP Poll, conducted 08-12 October 2020 of 937 likely voters, has the race lining up like this:

Biden 54%
Trump 41%

In the YouGov Poll, conducted from 9-11 October 2020 of 1,525 likely voters:

Biden 47%
Trump 39%

Running election simulations, Biden beats Trump 15 out of 20 times, or 75% of the time.

Biden 255/Trump 283
Biden 337/Trump 248
Biden 290/Trump 235
Biden 374/Trump 164
Biden 350/Trump 188

Biden 289/Trump 249
Biden 333/Trump 205
Biden 341/Trump 197
Biden 289/Trump 249
Biden230/Trump 308

Biden 407/Trump 131
Biden263/Trump 275
Biden 346/Trump 192
Biden 422/Trump 116
Biden205/Trump 333

Biden 314/Trump 224
Biden 357/Trump 181
Biden 249/Trump 289
Biden 285/Trump 253
Biden 387/Trump 151

As far as the national race for the White House is concerned, according to recent state polling data available, if the election was today, odds are that Vice President Joe Biden would be the 46th President of the United States, while Trump, who forever remains the third impeached president in U.S. history, will go down as one of the unmistakably cheap and tawdry individuals to ever sit in the Oval Office.

Latest 2020 Presidential Polls – 3 February 2020 – Iowa Caucus Edition

The Iowa Caucuses are finally here, and who will win is still the big question. In DC, the Impeachment Trial for Donald Trump has run through its second week with Senate Republicans prepared to fall on their political swords defending quite probably the most indefensible person in US history. John Bolton and Lev Parnas wait in the wings to spill the beans on the Hill, even while the Senate has voted not to allow new witnesses in the Impeachment Trial. Will the House subpoena them, and get their testimonies on the record prior to the 2020 election?

So, where are things as we blunder into Iowa? Nationally, former Vice-President Joe Biden continues to lead the pack for the Democratic Party nomination.

The latest LA Times/USC poll, conducted 15-28 January 2020, of 4,869 registered voters places the current rankings as such:

Joe Biden 34%
Bernie Sanders 18%
Elizabeth Warren 16%
Mike Bloomberg and Pete Buttigieg 9%
Amy Klobuchar 3%
Andrew Yang and Tom Steyer 2%

The Economist/YouGov poll, conducted 26-28 January 2020, of 1,500 US Adult citizens places the current rankings as such:

Biden 26%
Sanders 24%
Warren 20%
Buttigieg 7%
Bloomberg, Klobuchar, and Yang 4%
Tulsi “Present” Gabbard 3%

In the IBD/TIPP Poll, conducted from 23-30 January 2020 of 908 adults:

Biden 26%
Sanders 19%
Warren 13%
Bloomberg 8%
Buttigieg 7%
Yang 4%
Klobuchar 3%
Steyer 2%

Concerning the Iowa Democratic Caucus, the current polling stands as:

According to recent polling data available, if the election was today, odds are any of the top three Democrat contenders would be the 46th President of the United States. Trump, who forever remains the third impeached president in U.S. history, will still go down as one of the most miserable and decadent persons to ever sit in the Oval Office.
