Let the feeding frenzy begin; Cain faces potential campaign finance, tax law violations

Herman Cain, the Pizza Man who would be king, is getting his political baptism of fire this week; the media sharks are circling, smelling blood in the water surrounding sexual harassment allegations, and now some more chum has been thrown into the mix with another probable scandal concerning corporate donations.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel‘s reporting that writer Daniel Bice has obtained information suggesting alleging a private Wisconsin-based company footed tens of thousands of dollars to  Cain’s campaign to help get it off the ground providing financing of private chartered flights, iPads and additional travel and campaign expenses. It appears “Mister Outside” may have violated federal campaign finance and tax laws. Of course when asked about the allegations Cain was unable to address them.

“I’m not aware of this report, so my staff has not had time to go through it,” he said in an interview with Fox News. “I’m not aware of it. They’re not aware of it. We are going to look at the report and see if there is any validity.”

Yeah, you go ahead and do that Pizza Man, look into it and never let us know. No doubt it will be another, “there’s absolutely no truth to these allegations” moment; but welcome to the big leagues Mr. Outsider, this is what it means to run for the presidency.

Fear not 99%, Mitt knows how you feel?

Not to be out done by the Pizza Man, Mittens Romney has also chimed in on the “Occupy” protests, telling a small crowd at a retirement community in Florida, he was unsympathetic of the Occupy Wall Street movement. “I think it’s dangerous, this class warfare,” he said. Romney declined to comment further when asked about the protests by ABC. His response? “I’m just trying to get myself to occupy the White House.”

Yep, that’s it in a nut shell; all Mittens cares about is occupying the White House – god luck with that Mittens; you hold on to that happy thought – that and some fairy dust and one day you’ll fly!

Of course later Romney had to walk back his comments. “I worry about the 99 percent in America,” he said, later adding, “I understand how those people feel.”

Please Mitt, you don’t have a fricken blue clue how these people feel; the only time you went hungry was when the maid was off and you had no one to fix lunch for yourself, and couldn’t work the microwave – that was a hard day now wasn’t it?

Occupy Wall Street Protesters Should ‘Go Home and Get A Job and A Life’?

Huffington Post is reporting that Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential hopeful Herman “Pizza Man” Cain has taken another swipe at the Occupy Wall Street protesters, telling them to “go home and get a job and a life” while speaking to a crowd in Arkansas.

The “Pizza Man” made the comments in response to more than a dozen Occupy protesters who were gathered outside the event, according to the Tolbert Report. “Nobody knows what their cause is,” Cain said before telling the activists to go home.

Cain also had harsh words for the left in general during the campaign stop, saying “the American dream has been hijacked” by liberals, “but we can take it back.”

This is of course a phrase often bantered by the uber-conservatives, the likes of the Tea party and Glenn Beck, but they never define what that means. Which version of the American Dream are you referring to Pizza Man? Are you referring to the American Dream of the millionaires like yourself, or to the American Dream of the 99% of one day owning a home, and supporting their family, maybe helping to put their kids through college and then having something to retire on? Open your eyes and shut your pie hole, there aren’t enough jobs! Tax cuts for the wealthy – as in your 999 plan – haven’t created many jobs here in America during the past ten years, but they’ve created lots of jobs overseas. Is that the American Dream of which you speak?

Of course Cain’s blasted the Occupy movement every chance he gets; earlier this month he told the Wall Street Journal that the protesters who don’t have jobs have no one to blame but themselves:

“I don’t have facts to back this up, but I happen to believe that these demonstrations are planned and orchestrated to distract from the failed policies of the Obama administration. Don’t blame Wall Street, don’t blame the big banks, if you don’t have a job and you’re not rich, blame yourself! … It is not a person’s fault if they succeeded, it is a person’s fault if they failed.”

Cain – has an estimated net worth of somewhere between $2.9 million and $6.8 million, according to recently certified financial disclosure forms, so of course he feels threatened when a group decides to protest government policies protecting his “hard earned” millionaire status, and like many of his “class” he can’t understand why the 9% of Americans who are out of work might not appreciate tax cuts to the wealthiest 2%.

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls (02 Sep 11 Edition)

As we move into September, there begins to be a slight chill in the air at times, and here are the most current 2012 presidential election poll numbers.

FOX PAC conducted a very questionable poll 29-30 Aug 11 on who would be the Republican/Tea Party (GOTP) nominee if it all ended today; the poll is questionable because it’s FOX – nothing more needs to be said to clarify than that, it’s FOX:

Perry 26, Romney 18, Palin 8, Paul 7, Bachmann 4, Cain 4, Gingrich 3, Santorum 3 and Huntsman 1 …

Reverend Ricky Perry appears to be lengthening his lead over Mittens, with the Ice Queen polling in third – even though she still hasn’t announced she’s running – but hey, these are FOX viewers, so when has reality ever mattered? Paul is running a fourth spot while Krazy is quickly plummeting off the political cliff joining the ranks of the Newter and the Pizza Man, who has never met a Muslim he hasn’t disliked, as Santorum and Huntsman still bring up the rear.

In Iowa – according to Magellan Strategies – Perry has jumped in front with 24 displacing Bachmann to 22, Mitt 19; Paul 9; Cain 6, Gingrich 4, Santorum 4 and Huntsman 1…

In New Hampshire – Magellan Strategies: Mitt 36; Rev Ricky 18; Paul 14; Krazy 10; Cain 3, Huntsman 3 and Gingrich 2…

According to Rasmussen – which is always skewed at least five points towards the conservative candidate – anyone can verify that claim, just take the time to compare Rasmussen with other polls, and you’ll see it polls at least five points to the right every time; with that said however, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 41/Perry 44

President Obama 43/Romney 39

President Obama 46/Bachmann 38

President Obama 42/Cain 35

These five weren’t even mentioned in the last poll:

President Obama /Paul

President Obama / Palin

President Obama /Gingrich

President Obama /Huntsman

President Obama /Santorum

So, if the GOTP nomination circus – and the general election – had both ended this week Reverend Ricky would be the GOTP candidate, and he would be the next President.
