Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 31 Jul 12 Edition

We’ve only got 14 weeks to go until the November election and the Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential wanna-be Willard Mitt Romney’s in the midst of his 2012 World Tour! Unfortunately for Willard it hasn’t been the rousing success he had no doubt hoped for; after insulting Great Britain – repeatedly – one British paper’s front page declared “Mitt the Twit!” Next he went to Israel declaring Jerusalem was the capital and denigrating the Arab Spring as well as insulting the Palestinians; and finally while in Warsaw, Poland his Press Secretary told the Press, “kiss my ____” and to “shove it”.

So, how does the GOTP candidate stand up against the President?

No new favorability polls yet, but the last CBS News/NY Times poll of registered voters conducted from 11 Jul 12 – 16 Jul 12, showed the President with a 36% favorability rating compared to Romney’s 32%.

So, who’s more electable right now?

In the most recent viable’ national poll(s) – which are any group other than the Washington Times or Rasmussen (which are generally always skewed not just to the right, but far to the right) – the most current Gallup Tracking poll of registered voters conducted 23 – 30 Jul 12, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 50/Romney 46

The most recent Democracy Corps (D) poll of likely voters conducted 21 – 25 Jul 12, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 47/Romney 45

And finally, the most recent NBC News/Wall St. Jrnl poll of registered voters conducted 18 – 22 Jul 12, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 49/Romney 43

If the general election was held today, according to national polls, Willard Mitt Romney loses to President Obama in the general election.

According to state polls, if the General Election were held TODAY (note these are based on current poll numbers – not projections), the Electoral College totals based on all available current poll numbers the President defeats Romney 347/191:

Results of 15 consecutive simulations based on poll data as of 30 Jul 12

Obama 329/209
Obama 286/252
Obama 294/244
Obama 327/211
Romney 286/252

Romney 301/237
Obama 308/230
Obama 299/239
Obama 323/215
Obama 341/197

Romney 275/263
Obama 328/210
Obama 325/213
Obama 307/231
Obama 326/212

Of 15 simulations Romney manages only three victories, while the President not only beats Romney but beats him by a landslide more than half the time defeating Romney 12/3.

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 25 Jul 12 Edition

It’s only 15 weeks until the November election and the Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential wanna-be Willard Mitt Romney’s decided that he agrees with President Obama that business success didn’t happen by itself while disagreeing that success didn’t happen by itself. He continues to be under fire for having said he left Bain Capital in 1999 while records from the company filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) show he was still involved into 2002. He’s telling the President it’s time to stop stonewalling on alleged leaks from the White House while he’s been stonewalling for months in refusing to release his tax returns – not smart speech writing.

So, how does the GOTP candidate stand up against the President?

According to the last CBS News/NY Times poll of registered voters conducted from 11 Jul 12 – 16 Jul 12, shows the President with a 36% favorability rating compared to Romney’s 32%.

So, who’s more electable right now?

In the most recent viable’ national poll(s) – which are any group other than the Washington Times or Rasmussen (which are generally always skewed not just to the right, but far to the right) – the most current Gallup Tracking poll of registered voters conducted 18 Jul – 24 Jul 12, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 45/Romney 46

The most recent NBC News/Wall St. Jrnl poll of registered voters conducted 18 Jul – 22 Jul 12, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 49/Romney 43

And finally, the most recent FOX News poll of registered voters conducted 15 Jul 12 – 17 Jul 12, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 45/Romney 41

If the general election was held today, according to national polls, Willard Mitt Romney loses to President Obama in the general election.

According to state polls, if the General Election were held TODAY (note these are based on current poll numbers – not projections), the Electoral College totals based on all available current poll numbers the President defeats Romney 347/191:

Results of 15 consecutive simulations based on poll data as of 25 Jul 12

Obama 337/201
Obama 312/226
Obama 316/222
Obama 294/244
Obama 311/227

Obama 275/263
Obama 317/221
Obama 299/239
Obama 305/233
Obama 295/243

Romney 273/265
Obama 352/186
Obama 313/225
Obama 314/224
Romney 275/263

Of 15 simulations ran, Romney ekes out only two victories by the slimmest of margins, while the President not only beats Romney but beats him by a landslide more than half the time defeating Romney 13/15 times.

Sixteen weeks to go until the November election and the Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential wanna-be Willard Mitt Romney’s under fire for having said he left Bain Capital in 1999 while records from the company filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) show he was still not just involved but intimately involved being listed as the CEO, sole stock holder and chief cook and bottle washer; additionally he’s being pressured to release his tax records (to date he’s released a partial 2010) and thus far Willard’s refusing to give anything up.

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 10 Jul 12 Edition

Seventeen weeks until the November election and while President Obama’s gone on the offensive calling on Congress to extend the Bush tax cuts for everyone earning less than $250,000 per year, Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential wanna-be Willard Mitt Romney’s calling for the tax cuts to be extended for everyone, saying increasing taxes on the top 2% would hurt the “job creators” in America; only problem with Willard’s theory is we’ve had these tax cuts for more than ten years now, and seen very little return from the so-called “job creators”.

So, how does the GOTP candidate stand up against the President?

No new polls on current favorability of the candidates; however, according to the latest CNN/Opinion Research poll of registered voters conducted from 28 Jun – 01 Jul 12, shows the President with a 54% favorability rating compared to Romney’s 49%.

So, who’s more electable right now?

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 05 Jul 12 Edition

Eighteen weeks and counting to go until the November election and Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential wanna-be Willard Mitt Romney’s campaign has been rocked by the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamcare) which was patterned after Romneycare in Massachusetts; right down to the individual mandate penalty which SCOTUS declared was a tax forcing Romney to either admit he instituted a tax increase while Governor of Massachusetts, or to attempt a flip-flop and claim it’s a penalty in Massachusetts but a tax on the national level, predictably, he chose the latter.

Willard’s also dealing with increasing pressure from fellow Republicans to shake up his campaign staff, and his wife Ann’s now claiming he’s seriously considering a female running mate as VP.

So, how does the GOTP candidate stand up against the President?

The current favorability of the candidates, according to the latest CNN/Opinion Research poll of registered voters conducted from 28 Jun – 01 Jul 12, shows the President with a 54% favorability rating compared to Romney’s 49%.

Down to 19 weeks to go until the November election and Republican Tea Party (GOTP) “it’s my turn” bully-boy Willard Mitt Romney’s staff has been conducting “meetings” in dance clubs with bars serving champagne in uni-sex bathrooms, while Willard’s been forced to flip, flop and soften his staff on immigration following the Supreme Court decision to toss out the controversial sections of Arizona’s heinous anti-immigration law coupled with President’s announcement allowing children brought into this country illegally by their parents to be able to stay.

So, how does the GOTP candidate stand up against the President?

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 19 Jun 12 Edition

Down to 20 weeks to go until the November election and Republican Tea Party (GOTP) “it’s my turn” bully-boy Willard Mitt Romney’s having trouble identifying doughnuts and has boldly declared he’ll do the opposite of everything President Obama has done for or to Israel – while clearly not understanding anything the President’s done for our Mideast ally – (https://thelibertytree.wordpress.com/2012/06/16/romney-says-hed-do-the-opposite-of-everything-president-obamas-done-for-israel/), and he’s stated his wife Ann’s “the real Olympian” even though it’s her horse which will be competing in London this summer, with someone else riding it.

So, how does the GOTP candidate stand up against the President?

There’s been no new polls showing favorability of the candidates, but the last Bloomberg poll of voters conducted from 15-18 Jun 12, shows the President with a 55% favorability rating compared to Romney’s 39%.

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 12 Jun 12 Edition

Just a mere 21 weeks to go until the November election and Republican Tea Party (GOTP) “it’s my turn” bully-boy Willard Mitt Romney is continuing to try to paint himself as the next Ronald Reagan, even though he’s only barely managed to garner the majority of votes in the GOTP nomination circus with the final three primaries – something that’s never happened in the history of primaries, and something which clearly demonstrates his “popularity”.

Clearly, while it’s true Willard’s finally managed to capture the majority of votes in the nominating process he’s certainly the least popular candidate of choice by a major political party in quite some time; even when he’s the only guy still running, Republican/Tea Party voters still cast nearly 400,000 ballots for anyone but him, speaking loud and clear that while he’s won his party’s nomination a lot of the party’s members still think he sucks.

So, how does the GOTP candidate stand up against the President?

According to the latest polls showing favorability of the candidates, Monmouth/SurveyUSA/Braun poll of likely voters shows the President with a 45% favorability rating compared to Romney’s 38%. Like’s been said a number of times by lots of people, “the more people get to see of Romney the less they like him”, and sooner or later he’s going to have to start giving interviews to some other network besides FOX.

So, who’s more electable right now?

In the most recent viable’ poll(s) – which are any group other than FOX News or Rasmussen and the Purple Strategies which is also beginning to look suspect in some of its polling numbers (which are appearing very skewed) – the most current Reuters/Ipsos poll of registered voters conducted 7-11 Jun 12, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 45/Romney 44

The most recent Gallup Tracking poll of registered voters conducted 5-11 Jun 12, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 46/Romney 45

And finally, the most recent IBD/CSM/TIPP poll of registered voters conducted 1-8 Jun 12, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 46/Romney 42

If the general election was held today, Willard Mitt Romney still loses to President Obama in the general election.

How big would Willard lose? Well, if the General Election were held today, the Electoral College totals based on all available current poll numbers:

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 4 Jun 12 Edition

With 22 weeks to go, Republican Tea Party (GOTP) “it’s my turn” bully-boy Willard Mitt Romney has finally passed the “oh so magical” 1,144 delegates to officially make him the nominee.

However, with that said the final tally of current GOTP popular votes:

Romney 7,903,204 (48%)

Other than Romney 8,239,701 (51%)

While Willard’s now the so-called “nominee”, there’s still been more votes cast for anyone but Romney than for Romney from within his own party; as stated before, this has never happened since the GOTP started using the primary process, and it speaks volumes to how the party feels about their candidate, and about the likelihood of his overall success come November.

So, how does the GOTP candidate stand up against the President?

In the most recent viable’ poll(s) – which are any group other than FOX News or Rasmussen – the most current CNN/Opinion Research poll of registered voters conducted 29-31 May 12, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 49/Romney 46

If the general election was held today, Willard Mitt Romney still loses to President Obama in the general election.

How big would Willard lose? Well, if the General Election were held today, the Electoral College totals based on all available current poll numbers:

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 25 May 12 Edition

Republican Tea Party (GOTP) “it’s my turn” bully-boy Willard Mitt Romney continues to lack the needed gains towards the elusive magical 1,144 delegates to officially make him the nominee.

The GOTP Delegate Count (1,144 needed to win) to date is: Romney 989; other than Romney 509.

The current GOTP Popular Vote Count is:

Romney 6,904,809 (47%)

Other than Romney 7,883,460 (53%)

And still, while Willard’s the so-called “presumptive nominee”, there’s still been more votes cast for anyone but Romney than for Romney from within his own party; this has never happened since the GOTP started using the primary process, and it speaks volumes to how the party feels about their candidate.

So, how does the “presumptive” GOTP candidate stand up against the President?

In the most recent viable’ polls (which are neither FOX News nor Rasmussen) the most current ABC News/Wash Post poll of registered voters conducted 17-20 May 12, if the general election were held today:

President Obama 49/Romney 46

If the general election was held today, Willard Mitt Romney still loses to President Obama in the general election.

How big would Willard lose? Well, if the General Election were held today, the Electoral College totals based on all available current poll numbers:
