Allen West Blames President Obama For Libya Attack?

Republican Tea Party (GOTP) Congressman Allen West (aka Walter E. Kurtz), the former Army officer forced to “retire” after discharging his side arm next to the head of a prisoner he’d just told he was going to kill, has jumped into the fray over attacks on U.S. diplomatic posts in Libya and Egypt blaming President Obama.

Mobs rioting in Egypt and Libya, allegedly outraged by an anti-Islam film promoted by Quran-burning preacher Terry Jones fired rocket-propelled grenades in Libya at the U.S. Consulate, killing four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

Kurtz (West), who’s fighting for his Congressional seat in a tight race against Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy, is doubling down saying it was the Obama administration’s support for the Arab Spring uprisings that encouraged the attacks by “intolerant, barbaric, radical Muslims.”

“Americans need to question whether the deaths of these innocent patriots could have been avoided,” West claimed in a statement. “The Obama Administration touted the Arab Spring as an awakening of freedom, which we now see is a nightmare of Islamism.” West then repeated the already debunked lie that U.S. Embassy officials in Cairo “apologized” for the inflammatory film.

“President Obama’s policy of appeasement towards the Islamic world has manifested itself into a specter of unconscionable hatred,” West said, declaring the current events ranked with the Iranian hostage crisis, in which 52 Americans were held for 444 days in Tehran, starting in late 1979.

“President Obama has clearly surpassed former President Jimmy Carter and his actions during the Iranian Embassy crisis, as the weakest and most ineffective person to ever occupy the White House,” he said, of course failing to mention how under the President’s watch Osama bin Laden was killed along with scores of other top Al Qaeda and Taliban leaders – the ones the Bush Administration seemed either unable or unwilling to find.

West is soon to be a foot note in political history as a one term congressman who’s outlandish claims have included that the Democratic Caucus in Congress was filled with communists. He’s trying to score points out of desperation, and his latest crazed comments are proving once more how in the end, just as he was unfit to wear his country’s uniform any longer, he’s unfit to serve in the United States Congress.

Congressman’s insults return to haunt him in new attack ad

Republican Tea Party (GOTP) Congressman Allen (Walter E. Kurtz) West’s been surrounded by controversy since he discharged his side arm next to the head of a prisoner in Iraq (he’d threatened to shoot the man moments before) and his mouth has gotten him into even more trouble since he was elected to Congress in 2010 as part of the so-called “Tea Party Revolution”, but now he’s under attack in a new ad featuring a cast of children reciting a litany of his “greatest hits”, featuring all the insults he’s leveled at everyone and everything liberal.

“You are not a lady,” says a little girl at the start of the ad.

“You are the most vile, despicable member of the Communist Party,” other children say. “You are a threat to the gene pool.”

“Get the beep out of the United States!” the first girl shouts.

The best – and the worst – part of the ad is that every one of those words have come out of Kurtz’s (West’s) mouth at some point in the past two years. For example, in July 2011, West (Kurtz) accused Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz of being “vile, despicable and cowardly” and said she was “not a lady” because she had questioned his stance on Medicare during a House floor debate; in the same month, he called supporters of the President “a threat to the gene pool.”

One of his most bizarre comments however came when he declared to a group of “supporters” (no doubt in a cave deep in the jungles of Cambodia) that as many as 81 House Democrats are members of the Communist Party.

But wait, that’s not all, Kurtz (West) also declared that President Obama and other liberals should “get the hell out of the United States of America.”

The very creative television ad, titled “Time Out,” was released by Patrick Murphy, West’s (Kurtz’s) Democratic challenger, who appears in the ad midway through scolding the former Army LTC (he had to “retire” due to the aforementioned “shooting” incident) for acting like a child, while in the background kids are playing on a playground.

“Allen West said all these things and worse. But bullying and name-calling has no place in the playground or in Congress,” Murphy says. “I’ll reach across the aisle and solve problems.”

“You need a time out!” says a little girl at the end of the ad, and that says it all; after everything “Congressman” West has said and done during his two years in House of Representatives  he clearly needs a time out, a permanent timeout from serving in Congress.

Allen West says “Romney’s VP Pick Needs Military Experience” – like the kind he has?

Various news sources are saying soon-to-be one term Republican Tea Party (GOTP) Congressman Allen (Walter E. Kurtz) West told a group of young conservatives at the Young America’s Foundation’s National Conservative Student Conference that military experience is the most important trait that presumptive GOTP presidential nominee Willard Mitt Romney’s running mate must have.

“First time in 77 years there is a possibility that neither the sitting president and vice president, or the candidates for president and vice president have served in the military … and when I look at the number one title for president of the United States of America is commander in chief, that’s what concerns me,” Kurtz (West) said.

West (Kurtz) says Willard needs to fill the holes in his own resume with a running mate, especially a G.I. Joe type, All-American like himself?

“I think that whoever Governor Romney is as a presidential candidate, he has to do his own self-assessment, self-analysis and understand ‘where are my weaknesses,'” Kurtz (West) preached. “Therefore, the person that I have running with me as my ‘fox-hole buddy,’ if I want to put it in military terms, they have to be someone that shores up where I see my weakness are so we can be a really strong command team, leadership team.”

Reportedly, West (Kurtz) laughed when a student asked him to weigh in on a potential GOP vice presidential candidate, but then warmed to the subject of essentially nominating himself.

“Oh man, there are cameras on here,” Kurtz (West) said. The congressman then went on to tamp down any speculation that he himself was ever a potential pick. “I was never being considered,” he said (until I threw my own hat into the ring right now!).

Of course, the last person Romney – or any other GOTP nominee – needs on the ticket with them is a former military officer forced into retirement after discharging his weapon next to the head of a prisoner he had just told he was going to execute. West (Kurtz) is a loaded mouth waiting to discharge.

Allen West’s ‘heard’ there are 80 commies in the Congress?

According to new reports as many as 80 House Democrats are communists; at least that’s what Republican Tea Party (GOTP) Congressman Allen (Walter E. Kurtz) West is claiming.

Kurtz (West) warned his uber-conservative constituents at a recent town hall he’s “heard” that dozens of his Democratic colleagues in the House are members of the Communist Party, the Palm Beach Post reported. Of course Kurtz (West) wouldn’t – or more likely couldn’t – provide any evidence his claim’s remotely true, and of course he didn’t offer any names.

It’s strange he should say this because just the other I heard there’s at least 80 Republicans in the House who’re half-wits.

During the same event, West said President Barack Obama wouldn’t have a public debate with him over their policy differences.

“I really wish that, standing here before you, was Allen West and President Obama,” West said, according to the Palm Beach Post. “We could have a simple discussion. But that ain’t ever gonna happen.”

When an audience member asked why, West said in “a mocking voice” that it was because Obama “was too scared.”

OK, let me get this straight; the President of the United States, won’t debate a freshman congressman from Florida because he’s scared of him? Right; well, perhaps, just perhaps, he just doesn’t schedule time to debate raving lunatics?

Congressman Kurtz (West) needs to read some history books, real history books, and perhaps he’d have figured out this shtick was already tried by a senator from Wisconsin who became rather infamous because of his claims; no one says “When I grow up I want to be just like Joe McCarthy”, and I’m fairly certain there aren’t a lot of children out there saying, “When I grow up I want to be just like Allen West, threatening prisoners and shooting my pistol next to their heads”.

First, Willard Mitt Romney decides Russia is our worse enemy, and now Colonel Kurtz is seeing commies in the congress … someone also needs to tells these guys this 2012 not 1980; and West should be very careful, because those 80 commies are probably after his precious bodily fluids.

Palin says West should be GOTP VP choice?

According to news reports ex-governor Sarah “Ice Queen” Palin’s saying controversial Republican Tea Party (GOTP) Congressman Allen (Walter E. Kurtz) West of Florida should be considered for the vice presidency in 2012.

After being asked if she’d consider the VP position during an interview with FOX PAC, Palin stumped for West, counting his military experience as valuable.

“You know who I’d like to see considered for the VP slot is Colonel Allen West,” Palin said. “In this very tumultuous time across our world, someone who has served in our military or at least has intimate knowledge of the way the military works and should work, perhaps by having a close family member serve, someone like that.”

“Colonel Allen West, who’s been to the school of hard knocks, he should be the one who should be considered seriously for VP,” Palin said.

Of course she failed to mention why West was no longer in the military – a little something to do with forced retirement after telling a prisoner he’d shoot him in the head and then discharging his weapon next to the prisoner’s head.

Palin refused to say whether she’d consider a second vice presidential run.

“It’s not a no,” Palin said. “What I’m saying is, if I were in a GOTP presidential candidate’s shoes, I would first look to Colonel Allen West.”

Really, of all the qualified individuals Palin could recommend she pulls Kurtz out of where? One more really good example demonstrating how absolutely unqualified – beyond a shadow of a doubt – she was, and remains to be.

I can just hear the Congressman talking to himself as he sits in his private spaces, “It’s impossible for words to describe what is necessary to those who do not know what horror means. Horror… Horror has a face… and you must make a friend of horror.”

Democrats are Nazis?

A Florida Republican congressman who likened Democrats’ opinion shaping to the efforts of Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels has lamely attempted defending his comments even as criticism has continued mounting..

Republican Tea Party (GOTP) Congressman Allen (Walter E. Kurtz) West from Florida made the Nazi reference a few weeks ago when asked about Congress’ approval ratings and the blame the public has apparently assigned to Republicans.

“If Joseph Goebbels was around, he’d be very proud of the Democrat Party because they have an incredible propaganda machine,” West said, according to Politico, the Arlington, Va.-based news organization that first reported the comments.

Goebbels was Adolf Hitler’s propaganda minister.

West, who represents a South Florida district containing an influential Jewish constituency and a sizeable population of Holocaust survivors, told reporters, in his remarks at the Capitol, he was comparing Democrats to Nazi propaganda, not the Nazis themselves, but that did little to quell controversy.

Ah yes, because comparing Democrats to Nazi propaganda was OK?

“Congressman West needs to immediately apologize for insulting the memories of the millions who lost their lives during the Holocaust,” said Steve Israel, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “Comparing political differences today to the worst Nazi propagandist diminishes what happened to millions of Jewish families during the Second World War. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that Congressman West has made this type of hateful remark that makes a mockery of what millions of Jewish families suffered.”

West (Kurtz), defended his latest remarks, saying through a spokeswoman that twisting his comments was “a perfect example” of what he was talking about.

“Congressman West was referring to the `lies, deception and manipulation’ coming from the Democrat propaganda machine and comparing that to the same misinformation coming from Goebbels during World War II,” spokeswoman Angela Sachitano said.

West is a loose cannon and a lunatic – he’s a frightened little man trying to make excuses as to why his – and the Tea Party’s – “popularity” is beginning to wane; hope he’s enjoyed his short stint in Congress; crazy is no longer in vogue.

Waterboarding’s OK because it was in a movie?

Republican Tea Party (GOTP) Congressional footnote Allen (Walter E. Kurtz) West is claiming waterboarding isn’t torture because he saw it in a movie?

The former U.S. Army Colonel – who was forced to retire after discharging his weapon next to a prisoner’s head who he’d threatened to execute – made an appearance on FOX PAC & Friends, where he was introduced as “Congresswoman West” by brainiac co-host Brian Kilmeade. “Kurtz” was appearing to attempt to counter the President’s statement that waterboarding was torture.

“I see that when we continue to read Miranda rights to people such as the underwear bomber, we are using the advantage and leverage that we have,” West said. “And furthermore in the movie G.I. Jane, Demi Moore was waterboarded, and we do use that in military training and Survival, Escape, Resistance and Evasion training.”

OK, so by that logic, if we find a witch in a town all we have to do is drop a house on her and we’re good?

There are actually two things wrong with Congressman “Kurtz’s” statement, and I’ll use small words so everyone can get this; first, G.I. Jane’s a movie, which means she wasn’t really waterboarded; second, when our military personal are waterboarded in Survival, Escape, Resistance and Evasion training they know they’re not going to die so it’s not the same, they know the trainers can only go so far, that’s why it’s called “training”.

West is a lunatic; he was sent packing from the Army for mistreating prisoners and he’s the last person who should ever be called as a subject matter expert on what’s right and wrong concerning torture and interrogation of prisoners, but if you’re FOX PAC he’s the first on your speed dial.

West is very concerned about Iraq withdrawal?

So, Republican Tea Party (GOTP) Congressional darling Allen (Walter E. Kurtz) West is saying he’s “very concerned” about President Obama’s announcement that American troops in Iraq will be brought home before the end of the year, saying it was another “campaigner-in-chief decision.”

Problem for former United States Army Colonel West – who was forced to retire after discharging his weapon next to a prisoner’s head who he’d threatened to execute – is that nobody really cares what his opinion is; and of course the fact the agreement to withdraw troops was signed by the previous occupant of the White House – one of the few things Bush did right concerning the war in Iraq.

You’d think as a member of the House Armed Services Committee, Kurtz would know who’d signed what, but as a GOTP Congressman, facts just never seem to matter; no matter though – whether Bush or President Obama initiated the withdrawal, it’s the right thing to do. How long would conservatives have us stay there?

West’s a dolt who’s destined to be a one term wonder – he wants to portray himself as some wonderful military/national security expert but he’s somewhere just south of Looney Toonville, something he has in common with an awful lot of the Tea Party darlings in Congress.
