Latest 2016 Presidential Polls – 18 June 2016 Edition

The Republican Tea Party (GOTP) clown bus is in freefall after having been driven off the cliff by its xenophobic misogynistic fascist driver, Donald Trump; the White House, the Senate and possibly the House of Representatives are all going down into the dark fissure of history. In other words, it appears the Republican Party is about to go the way of the Whigs.

decision 2016

On the Democratic side, it’s all over – in spite of what Bernie Sanders thinks. Hillary kicked his tail in California and this past week in D.C.

One week ago the single worst mass shooting in the last 100 years took place in Orlando and Trump’s first response was to tweet his loyal followers, thanking them for congratulating him on supposedly being right. It never crossed his mind the American people might like to hear him be a little presidential, his first instinct was to be narcissistic. And then the bus went through the guardrail.

Nationally, the polling numbers are turning from light to dark for Trump very quickly – Hillary leads him nationally in some polls by double digits and is leading him in, of all places, Kansas.

Rasmussen Poll 14-15 June – Clinton 44/Trump 39
Reuters/Ipsos Poll 11-15 June – Clinton 41/Trump 32
Bloomberg Poll 10-13 June – Clinton 49/Trump 37

2016-electoral-map-clinton-trump-18Jun2016-2

According to recent polling data available, if the election were today, odds are Hillary Clinton will be the 45th President of the United States, and Trump will be a footnote in the history books.

Latest 2016 Presidential Polls – 2 June 2016 Edition

The Republican Tea Party (GOTP) clown bus is still being controlled by its xenophobic fascist driver, Donald Trump, zigzagging from side to side along the road, crashing into guard rails, continuing to threaten to send the Republican Party into the abyss known as the dustbin of history.

decision 2016

Trump victory is still not an endorsement of conservatism in America; it is an indictment. The Party of Ronald Reagan has become the party of Mussolini.

On the Democratic side, with one week left in real primaries, we still have a race, well, sort of, Hillary Clinton has pretty well locked it up.

Nationally, the polls show a widening gap between the two:

A Quinnipiac poll from 24 to 30 May has:

Hillary Clinton 53%
Bernie Sanders 39%

While an ABC News/Washington Post Poll from 16 – 19 May show:

Clinton 56%
Sanders 42%

In upcoming state primaries (7 June), it does not look good for Sanders.

New Jersey – Quinnipiac Poll from 10 – 16 May had Clinton ahead of Sanders 54/40
New Mexico – Isidewith.com Polling shows Clinton over Sanders 62/38

California – Isidewith.com Polling shows Clinton over Sanders 58/42
KABC/SurveyUSA from 19 – 22 May has Clinton beating Sanders 57/39
NBC/WSJ/Marist from 29 – 31 May shows the race tightening with Clinton beating Sanders 49/47

The issue for Sanders is he needs to beat Clinton by 67% in all the remaining primaries to hope to pass Clinton in pledged delegates. That is not going to happen.

Sanders will likely win North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana – all to bring no real delegate counts to his badly trailing campaign.

Clinton leads Sanders 2,312/1,545 total delegates – counting superdelegates, which are delegates, whether BernBots like it or not. It is going to be a Clinton vs. Trump general election. In spite of what BernBots keep hoping, no, the FBI is still not going to remove Clinton from the race.

So, how does November look right now? According to all currently available state-by-state polling data, it looks like Clinton buries Sanders 347/191. For some perspective, President Obama defeated Mitt Romney 332/206.

2016 Electoral Map Clinton-Trump 1Jun16 - 2

Nationally, the polling numbers are:

Rasmussen Poll 31 May to 1 June – Clinton 39/Trump 38
Quinnipiac Poll  24-30 May – Clinton 45/Trump 41
NBC News/WSJ Poll 15-19 May – Clinton 46/Trump 43

According to recent polling data available, if the election were today, odds are Hillary Clinton will be the 45th President of the United States, and Trump will be – God willing – a footnote in the history books.

If you are a Republican, fear for your Party; the lunatics – aka the Tea Party – are now clearly in charge of the asylum, and the future does not look very good for you, in fact, your party is starting to plunge off the cliff.

Latest 2016 Presidential Polls – 17 May 2016 Edition

The Republican Tea Party (GOTP) clown bus has lost all of its passengers but is still being controlled by its fascist driver, Donald Trump, careening from side to side along the road, crashing into guard rails, threatening to send the GOTP off of the proverbial cliff and taking the rest of us with it.

decision 2016

Trump has won the Republican Party’s nomination, but this victory is still not an endorsement of conservatism in America but rather it is an indictment.

On the Democratic side, we still have a race, well, sort of, Hillary Clinton has all but locked it up while BernBots continue to insist Bernie Sanders can pull it off.

Nationally, the two are not that close:

A CNN/ORC Poll from 28 April to 01 May has:

Hillary Clinton 51%

Bernie Sanders 43%

In Kentucky’s primary tonight, Clinton won 47/46 with 24 delegates to Sander’s 22

In Oregon’ primary, Sanders appears to have won 53/47 with 21 delegates awarded at this time to Clinton’s 17.

The last big primary, California, is coming up on 7 June, along with Montana, New Jersey, and New Mexico.

California – KABC/SurveyUSA Poll from 27-30 April has Clinton way over Sanders 57/38.

Montana has no recent polling data available.

New Jersey – Monmouth Poll from 1-3 May has Clinton over Sanders 60/32

New Mexico – Albuquerque Journal Poll from February had Clinton over Sanders 47/33.

Clinton leads Sanders 2,281/1,516 total delegates – counting superdelegates, which are delegates, whether BernBots like it or not. It is going to be a Clinton vs. Trump general election, barring anything unforeseen. No, the FBI will not be removing Clinton from the race.

So, how does November look right now? According to all currently available state-by-state polling data, it looks like Clinton buries Sanders 379/159.

2016 Electoral Map 16May16-2

Nationally, the polling numbers are:

Gravis Poll 10 May – Clinton 48/Trump 46

PPP (D) 6-9 May – Clinton 47/Trump 41

CNN/ORC 28 April to 1 May – Clinton 54/Trump 41

According to recent polling data available, if the election were today, odds are Hillary Clinton will be the 45th President of the United States, and Trump would be a footnote in the history books.

If you are a Republican, fear for your Party; the lunatics – aka the Tea Party – are now clearly in charge of the asylum, and the future does not look very good.

Latest 2016 Presidential Polls – 24 February 2016 Edition

Two months have passed since I last commented on the current 2016 Presidential Election, and in those two months, oh how the mighty have fallen.

decision 2016

The political season continues to surge forward towards the abyss. The Republican Tea Party (GOTP) clown bus has lost most of its passengers but is still being controlled by its fascist driver, Donald Trump, careening from side to side along the road, crashing into guard rails, passengers screaming, threatening to send the GOTP off of the proverbial cliff ad taking the rest of us with it.

Continuing his standard operating procedure, making one crazy statement after another Trump continues to lead in the polls, winning one primary after another – New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada – appealing to the worse parts of human nature – you know, the Nazi parts, the white supremacist parts – and firmly now entrenched as the Party’s leader. His leading is still not an endorsement of conservatism in America; it is an indictment.

So, where are things as we move towards Super Tuesday?

Nationally, the man who relishes living in political chaos continues holding on to the top spot in the polls in spite of everything he does.

A Rasmussen Reports Poll, conducted February 11-22, 2016 of “Likely Republican Voters” has the Republican race lining up thus:

Donald Trump 36%
Marco Rubio 21%
Ted Cruz (the Canadian who would be President) 17%
John Kasich 12%
Ben Carson 8%

So, 58% of the Republican Party is supporting anyone but Trump, while the crazy one-third of the Party is destroying it, one primary at a time. Of course, six percent of the GOTP does not appear to like any of these candidates.

In an FOX News Poll, conducted by telephone of “registered voters” from 15-17 February 2016:

Trump 36%
Cruz 19%
Rubio 15%
Carson 9%
Bush 9% (sadly Jeb has taken his toys home after the SC Primary)
Kasich 8%

Again, 60% of the Party opposes Trump, and yet he is dominating the Primaries because the other stiffs will not admit defeat and move out of the way.

On the Democratic side, the FOX News Poll has:

Bernie Sanders 47%
Hillary Clinton 44%

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll from 14-16 February 2016 has:

Clinton 53%
Sanders at 42%

According to the FOX News, if the General Election was today:

Rubio 48/Clinton 44
Cruz 46/Clinton 45
Clinton 47/Trump 42

Sanders 53/Trump 38

According to a USA Today/Suffolk Poll, taken 11-15 February 2016:

Trump 45/Clinton 43
Cruz 45/Clinton 44
Rubio 48/Clinton 42

Rubio 46/Sanders 42
Trump 44/Sanders 43
Sanders 44/Cruz 42

According to recent polling data available, if the election were today, odds are anyone running might be the 45th President of the United States, and the others would still be footnotes in history books.

If you are a Republican, fear for your Party; the lunatics – aka the Tea Party – are now clearly in charge of the asylum.

Latest 2016 Presidential Polls – 12 December 2015 Edition

It has been nearly four months since I last commented on the current 2016 Presidential Election, and in those four months next to nothing has changed. The political season continues to stagger forward. The Republican Tea Party (GOTP) clown bus is still filled to overflowing while its fascist driver, Donald Trump, careens from side to side along the road, threatening to send the GOTP off of the proverbial cliff. Making one crazy declaration after another Trump continues to lead in the polls, appealing to the worse parts of human nature, and firmly now ensconced as the Party’s new leader. His leading is not an endorsement of conservatism in America; it is an indictment.

decision 2016

So, where are things as we move towards Christmas and New Years?

Nationally, “the Donald,” aka “Der Fuhrer,” the man who seems to relish living in political chaos, continues holding on to the top spot in the polls in spite of all his outlandish comments.

The CBS/NY Times Poll, “conducted by telephone December 4-8, 2015 among a random sample of 1,275 adults nationwide, including 1,053 registered voters” has the Republican race lining up thus:

Donald Trump 35%
Ted Cruz (the Canadian who would be President) 16%
Ben Carson 13%
Marco Rubio 9%
Rand Paul 4%
Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, John Kasich, and Mike Huckabee 3%
None of them 2%
Carly Fiorina 1%
Rick Santorum, George Pataki, and Lindsey Graham 0%

It must hurt to know that “none of them” garners more of a percentage of the party faithful than you do.

In a USA Today/Suffolk Poll, conducted by telephone of “registered voters” from December 2-6, 2015:

Trump 27%
Cruz 17%
Rubio 16%
Carson 10%
Bush 4%
Paul, Christie, and Kasich 2%
Fiorina, Huckabee, and Santorum 1%
Pataki and Graham 0%

Something very troubling for the Republican Party is the fact that 68% of Trump followers have said they would support him if he bolted from the GOTP and made an independent run for the White House. Reality being 68% of Trump supporters could mean anywhere from 15% to 20% or more of the Republican base in a general election, ensuring a Democratic victory in 2016.

On the Democratic side, the CBS/NY Times Poll has:

Hillary Clinton 52%
Bernie Sanders 32%
Martin O’Malley 2%

The USA Today/Suffolk Poll has:

Clinton 56%
Sanders at 29%
O’Malley 4%

According to the USA Today/Suffolk Poll, if the General Election was today:

Clinton 48/Trump 44
Rubio 48/Clinton 45
Clinton 47/Cruz 45
Clinton 46/Carson 45

According to a CNN/ORC Poll, conducted from 27 November to 1 December, if the General Election was today:

Clinton 50/Cruz 47
Carson 50/Clinton 47
Clinton 49/Trump 46
Rubio 49/Clinton 48

Clearly, there are some serious problems with the polling data when a CNN/ORC Poll finds Ben – the Egyptians built the pyramids to store grain – Carson beating Hillary Clinton at anything. The CNN/ORC poll is highly suspect.

Finally, in an MSNBC/Telemundo/Marist Poll, conducted from 15 November to 2 December:

Clinton 52/Trump 41
Clinton 51/Cruz 44
Clinton 48/Rubio 45
Clinton 48/Carson 47

According to recent polling data available, if the election were today, odds are Hillary Clinton would be the 45th President of the United States, and the others would still be footnotes in history books.

If you are a Republican, your only hope appears to be with a very junior Senator from Florida. Good luck with that.

Latest 2016 Presidential Polls – 28 August 2015 Edition

The 2016 Presidential Election staggers forward – the Republican Tea Party (GOTP) clown bus complete with its 17 occupants and pseudo-fascist driver is trying to find some degree of sanity but is failing because Donald Trump continues to lead in the polls, appealing to the worse parts of human nature, and finding room in the GOTP.

decision 2016

Where are things as we slink slowly into September of 2015?

Nationally, the “Joker” of the GOTP clowns – “The Donald” – continues holding on to the top spot in the polls in spite of all his outlandish comments.

A Quinnipiac Poll, conducted by telephone of “registered voters” from August 20 to 25, 2015 has the GOTP Clown Bus lining up thus:

Donald Trump still ahead at 28%

Christie and Paul 3%
Perry, Santorum and Jindal 1%
Graham 0%

Lastly, in a Rasmussen Poll, conducted by telephone of “registered voters” from August 9 to August 10, 2015 the Clown Parade is as follows:

Trump leads at 17%
Bush and Rubio 10%
Walker and Fiorina 9%
Carson 8%

Huckabee 3%
Perry, Santorum, Jindal and Graham 1%

On the Democratic side, the Quinnipiac Poll has:

Hillary Clinton 45%
Bernie Sanders 22%
Vice-President Joe Biden 18%
Martin O’Malley 1%
Jim Webb 1%
Lincoln Chafee 0%

The CNN/ORC Poll has:

Clinton still way out in front with 47%
Sanders at 29%
Biden 14%
O’Malley 2%
Webb 1%
Chafee 0%

Fox News has the Democratic race:

Clinton 49%
Sanders 30%
Biden 10%
Webb and O’Malley 1%
Chafee 0%

According to the Quinnipiac Poll, if the General Election was today:

Clinton 45/Trump 41
Clinton 44/Rubio 43
Clinton 42/Bush 40

The poll ignored all other challengers

According to the CNN/ORC Poll, if the General Election was today:

Clinton 53/Fiorina 43
Clinton 52/Bush 43
Clinton 52/Walker 46
Clinton 51/Trump 45

The poll did not ask voters about a match-up between Clinton and Rubio, Paul, Cruz, Carson, Christie, Huckabee, Kasich, Perry, Santorum, Jindal or Graham.

According to recent polling data available, if the election was today Hillary Clinton would be the 45th President of the United States, and the others would still be footnotes in history books.

Of note, according to the Quinnipiac poll, “Note to Biden: They like you, they really like you, or they like you more than the others.

“If he is sitting on the fence, his scores in the matchups and his favorability ratings may compel him to say, ‘Let’s do this.’”

“Matchups among all American voters show: Biden tops Trump 48 – 40 percent. He beats Bush 45 – 39 percent and gets 44 percent to Rubio’s 41 percent.

“Clinton edges Trump 45 – 41 percent. She gets 42 percent to Bush’s 40 percent and gets 44 percent to Rubio’s 43 percent.

“Sanders edges Trump 44 – 41 percent and edges Bush 43 – 39 percent. Rubio gets 41 percent to Sanders’ 40 percent.”

Note to Republicans, according to Quinnipiac, “If Trump runs as a third party candidate, Clinton gets 40 percent, with 24 percent each for Bush and Trump.”

Trudge, trudge, trudge – The 2016 Presidential Election season trudges on – the Republican Tea Party (GOTP) clown car continues to pick up occupants while the Democratic Party drags along.

decision 2016

Where are things in the waning days of May in this 2016 campaign?

Nationally, a Quinnipiac poll, conducted by telephone of “registered voters” from 19-26 May 2015, has a five-way tie amongst the GOTP with Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee and – of all possible people – Ben Carson at 10% each. Latest 2016 Presidential Polls – 16 May 2015 Edition

Rolling, rolling, rolling – The 2016 Presidential Election season rolls on – the Republican Tea Party (GOTP) clown car continues its wild ride while the “Scooby Mobile” has competition from Bernie Sanders.

decision 2016

Where are things in these early moments of the 2016 campaign?

Nationally, a Fox News poll continues to prove just how big of a joke the so-called news agency and its’ viewers are, declaring, among other comical tidbits, that Mike Huckabee – the snake oil salesman of miraculous diabetes cures, is “seen as more ethical than most,” of all the GOTP candidates.

The “poll,” conducted by telephone of “registered voters” from 9-12 May 2015, has Jeb Bush tied with Ben Carson at 13% each, Scott Walker 11%, Mike Huckabee 10%, Marco Rubio 9%, Rand Paul 7%, Ted Cruz and Chris Christie 6%, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum and John Kasich at 2%, while Bobby Jindal and Carly Fiorina bring up the rear at 1%.

On the Democratic side, the same “poll” has Hillary Clinton in a commanding lead of undeclared candidates with 63%, followed by Elizabeth Warren (who has declared she is not running) at 13%, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders 6%, Jim Webb 2% and Martin O’Malley at 0%

This same so-called “poll” – if used to see how things stack up if the General Election was today – has Bush overcoming a double-digit deficit from a month ago beating Clinton – no bias of course from a “news” organization like Fox News.  In fact, according to Fox News, all of the GOTP contenders suddenly have overcome devastating numbers to all become contenders against Hillary – at this point, nothing but a dream Fox, nothing but a dream.

Bush 45/Clinton 44

Clinton 47/Huckabee 44

Clinton 48/Walker 42

Clinton 47/Rubio 43

Clinton 48/Cruz 43

Clinton 48/Carson 42

According to recent polling data available, if the election was today Hillary Clinton would be the 45th President of the United States, except for one group, which thinks Jeb Bush should be president, and the others would be footnotes in history books.
