Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 04 May 12 Edition – or, and now there are 1 ½ candidates …

Newton Leroy Gingrich has finally bowed out of the Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential contest leaving perennial hopeful Willard Mitt Romney and the other guy; but Willard still has yet to capture the magic 1,144 delegates to officially make him the nominee.

The regular season primary wins to date: Romney 26; Ron “Somebody or Other” 0 and anyone but Romney 12.

The GOTP Delegate Count (1,144 needed to win) to date is: Romney 865; other than Romney 414 and Paul 93.

The current GOTP Popular Vote Count is:

Romney 5,228,676

Other than Romney 5,780,644

Paul 1,335,822

Although Willard’s still the presumptive nominee, it’ still (week after week) a big fat hairy fact, there’ve been more votes cast for anyone but Romney than for Romney:

Anyone but Romney 7,116,466 (58%)

Romney 5,228,676 (42%)

That’s right sports fans; Willard’s only managing 42% of his own party’s vote to date; the President must be truly terrified by the amount of support Romney’s garnering.

So, how does the “presumptive” GOTP candidate stand up against the President?

The most recent “viable” polls (which are neither FOX News nor Rasmussen); but interestingly enough, the most current Rasmussen Tracking poll of likely voters conducted 01-03 May 12; if the general election were held today:

President Obama 47/Romney 45

However, if you eliminate the traditional five point slant towards the conservative side of Rasmussen’s polling the real numbers are probably somewhere around:

President Obama 52/Romney 45

If the general election was held today, Willard Mitt Romney would be the GOTP nominee, and he’d lose to President Obama in the general election.

How big would Willard lose? Well, if the General Election were held today, the Electoral College totals based on all available current poll numbers:

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 27 April 12 Edition

Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential hopeful Willard Mitt Romney prevailed in all five primaries held on Tuesday – no duh. Who were his opponents, a disgraced former House Speaker and a crazy Congressman from Texas? And even though he’s running against two virtually non-existing candidates Willard still hasn’t managed to capture the magic 1,144 delegates needed to be the winner; so, he remains the “presumptive” winner.

The biggest news to come from Tuesday’s primaries is that Newton Leroy Gingrich will announce he’s dropping out of the race early next week – of course he hasn’t been in the race since his “colony on the moon” moment.

The regular season primary wins to date: Romney 26; Gingrich 2; Ron “What’s His Name” 0 and anyone but Romney 10.

The GOTP Delegate Count (1,144 needed to win) to date is: Romney 838; other than Romney 267; Gingrich 141 and Paul 88.

The current GOTP Popular Vote Count is:

Romney 5,221,445

Other than Romney 3,376,375

Gingrich 2,402,960

Paul 1,335,024

Although Willard’s the presumptive nominee, it’ still a big fat hairy fact – as it has been all through the primaries – there’ve been more votes cast for anyone but Romney than for Romney:

Anyone but Romney 7,114,359 (58%)

Romney 5,221,445 (42%)

That’s right sports fans; Willard’s only managing 42% of his own party’s vote to date; the President must be truly terrified by the amount of support Romney’s garnering.

So, how does the “presumptive” GOTP candidate stand up against the President?

The most recent “viable” polls (which are neither FOX News nor Rasmussen) the Gallup Tracking poll of registered voters conducted 21-26 Apr 12; if the general election were held today:

President Obama 50/Romney 43

According to the National Journal poll of voters conducted 19-22 Apr 12; if the general election were held today:

President Obama 47/Romney 39

If the general election was held today, Willard Mitt Romney would be the GOTP nominee, and he’d lose to President Obama in the general election.

How big would Willard lose? Well, if the General Election were held today, the Electoral College totals based on all available current poll numbers:

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 24 April 12 Edition

Today there will be primaries in Connecticut, Delaware, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, but it doesn’t matter in the least – Romney’s going to win his party’s nomination and the other guys will eventually walk away – unless they’re drawn to the idea of being president like a moth is drawn into a flaming candle; then Romney still wins and they end looking more ridiculous than they do now.

Since we’ve finished the first Santorum free week of the 2012 Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential campaign season, not much has really changed in the land of make believe known as Romney for President; he’s still sticking his silver foot in his mouth, and he’s still flip flopping more than a landed trout on everything from personal income taxes to immigration.

However, even though Santorum’s dropped out, the regular season primary still putters on and our current record remains: Romney 21; Gingrich 2; Ron “What’s His Name” 0 and anyone but Romney 10.

The GOTP Delegate Count (1,144 needed to win) to date is: Romney 656; other than Romney 272; Gingrich 140 and Paul 67.

The current GOTP Popular Vote Count is:

Romney 4,595,908

Other than Romney 3,209,301

Gingrich 2,284,557

Paul 1,191,026

Although Willard’s the presumptive nominee, it still remains – as it has all through the primaries – there have been more votes cast for anyone but Romney than for Romney:

Anyone but Romney 6,684,884

Romney 4,595,908

So, how does the “presumptive” GOTP candidate stand up against the President?

The most recent “viable” polls (which are neither FOX News nor Rasmussen) the Gallup Tracking poll of registered voters conducted 18-22 Apr 12; if the general election were held today:

President Obama 47/Romney 44

According to the NBC News/Wall St. Jrnl poll of registered voters conducted 13-17 Apr 12; if the general election were held today:

President Obama 49/Romney 43

If the general election was held today, Willard Mitt Romney would be the GOTP nominee, and he’d lose to President Obama in the general election.

How big would Willard lose? Well, if the General Election were held today, the Electoral College totals based on all available current poll numbers:

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls – 13 April 12 Edition

In a surprise this week, Richard John Santorum unexpectedly did the common sense thing and withdrew from the Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential race – the other two guys are still in it; what are their names?

So, the GOTP primaries are basically done now …

“Ladies and Gentlemen, I present your presidential nominee, Willard Mitt Romney!” (cue crickets)

The regular season primary comes to its all but inevitable end with the current records for the GOTP “Confederacy of Dunces”: Romney 21; Santorum 10; Gingrich 2 and “What’s His Name” 0.

The GOTP Delegate Count (1,144 needed to win) to date is: Romney 566; Santorum 263; Gingrich 140 and Paul 67.

The current GOTP Popular Vote Count is:

Romney 4,595,908

Santorum 3,209,301

Gingrich 2,284,557

Paul 1,191,026

So, how does Willard stand up against the President?

The last viable poll (which is neither FOX News nor Rasmussen) the ABC News/Wash Post poll of registered voters conducted 5 – 8 Apr 12; if the general election were held today:

President Obama 51/Romney 44

So, the GOTP clown car has all but come to a wild spinning stop, and if the general election was held today, Willard Mitt Romney would be the GOTP nominee, and he’d lose to President Obama in the general election.

How big would Willard lose? Well, if the General Election were held today, the Electoral College totals based on current poll numbers:

FOX “News” anchor suggests President Obama threatened Chelsea Clinton’s Life?

So-called “fair and balanced” FOX “News” has a huge credibility problem; it seems weekend anchor Heather Childers twittered a link to a story from an uber-conservative blog suggesting the Obama campaign may have threatened to murder Chelsea Clinton during the 2008 presidential campaign.

Childers reportedly tweeted a blog post from godfatherpolitics.com titled, “Did Barack Obama Campaign Threaten Life of Chelsea Clinton to Keep Parents Silent on Obama’s Ineligibility?”

The “article” suggests someone “associated” with the President’s 2008 election campaign threatened to kill Chelsea Clinton should President Clinton talk about “Obama’s birth certificate or lack thereof.”

Because a junior senator from Illinois could do that and get away with it; are you serious? Yeah the United States Secret Service which still protects former President Clinton and his family would’ve just gone along with that. Of course the blog (rag) doesn’t offer anything as proof of this claim, but you don’t have to do that in right-wing world.

So, Childers’ source for her tweet, how credible is it, and what are some of the other riveting headlines from godfatherpolitics.com?

Well, how about “President Obama Channels Joseph Stalin and Attacks Supreme Court Justices”?

Or try this one, “Alabama Supreme Court Justice Says Barack Obama Birth Certificate Would Not Stand Up in Court.”

Why do I envision a creepy kid sitting on a porch playing a banjo when I read stuff like this?

This is absurdity run amok and of course a FOX “News” employee has picked up the ball and run with it. Why? Because the folks at FOX “News” are the biggest sufferers of Obama Derangement Syndrome (ODS) and the biggest “legitimate” news organization to perpetuate far-right conspiracy theories such as the birther craze.

FOX “News” is anything but a legitimate news organization and it’s the farthest thing from being “fair and balanced”. I think of my Dad’s advice that when a company trumpets something loud and long it’s usually its weakest point.

FOX is where uber-conservatives go to get their daily fill of propaganda and “news”; of course that’s all interspersed with extremely heavy doses of right wing talk radio throughout the day from the likes of Rush “she’s a slut” Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. Is it any wonder in a recent poll of Americans on the question of keeping troops in Afghanistan 75% were opposed while 25% were in favor of it; what’s the rough percentage of FOX viewers? Yep, you guessed it, about 25%.

Childers should be sent packing, but of course knowing FOX she’ll probably get her own weeknight prime time show for her excellence in broadcast journalism.

Do’H!

Town criers Erastmus Limbaugh and Uriah Hannity say it’s about time authorities sent the smelly, flea bitten, mangy protestors packing.

“No one knows why they’ve been protesting,” Limbaugh cried, firmly ensconced behind his golden EIB criers’ bell. “It’s a hodge podge of people with no discernible leaders, the King’s soldiers did exactly the right thing; and further more, there’s nothing to this stuff that they used excessive force.”

“That’s right,” whined Hannity. “Why should the people of Boston have their lives turned upside down every day by individuals who are just lazy and want liberty just given to them?”

O’Reilly Decries Use of “Nazis in Analogies” — But He Uses Them All the Time?

Media Matters is pointing out typical FOX PAC hypocrisy after Bill O’Reilly discussed the recent uproar over Hank Williams Jr. invoking Adolf Hitler while criticizing President Obama; O’Reilly said that it’s “always bad to use Nazis in analogies.” But O’Reilly himself has a long history of using Nazi analogies.

“He was trying to make an analogy, and [it’s] always bad to use Nazis in analogies — you don’t do this. And he basically said, look, if you get guys together like President Obama and Speaker [John] Boehner it’d be like Hitler playing golf with [Benjamin] Netanyahu,” he said.

“I’m of two minds. It’s dumb to bring Hitler up, you’re absolutely right. Can’t do that in this PC society. But what he said, it isn’t — he isn’t comparing Obama to Hitler. He’s comparing the situation, the strange bedfellows. He’s not saying Obama’s Hitler. Williams isn’t saying that. I mean, I’m just trying to be fair here, OK. But it doesn’t matter, I guess.”

OK, whatever Bill; the only man Williams could find to use in his analogy was Adolph Hitler? No, he meant to compare the President to Hitler, this isn’t some “honest mistake” it was a white red neck comparing the first Black President to the Nazi Dictator.

But even though O’Reilly claims using Nazi analogies is not smart he’s done it a number of times.

On his 2 Mar 2010 program O’Reilly claimed that liberals who support gun control are “today’s totalitarians.” He added that in the past, people like “Hitler and Mussolini” held such positions in favor of “state control.”

In his 16 Jul 2009, syndicated column, O’Reilly wrote, “The far left is trying to create a huge federal apparatus that will promote income redistribution and ‘social justice.’ Also, the left sees a major opportunity to knock out Judeo-Christian traditions, replacing them with a secular philosophy.

“In order to accomplish this, the left-wing media is marginalizing people like Sarah Palin who oppose the strategy. Under the guise of hard news reporting, the media is pushing rank propaganda on the citizenry. Dr. Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi propaganda minister, successfully developed this tactic in the 1930’s.”

On his 10 Mar 2008 program O’Reilly said, “And I said that these tactics that are being used on this website, The Huffington Post, are the same exact tactics that the Nazis used in the late ’20s and early ’30s to demonize certain groups of people, so it would become easier for them, the Nazis, when they took power, to hurt those people.”

On his 27 Feb 2008 program O’Reilly said, “I don’t see any difference between [Arianna] Huffington and the Nazis. … I don’t see any difference.”

On his 16 Jul 2007 program he said that the Daily Kos is “like the Ku Klux Klan. It’s like the Nazi party. There’s no difference here.”

So, oh yes, it’s “always bad to use Nazis in analogies” unless of course you’re Bill O’Reilly.

Latest 2012 Presidential Polls (28 Sep 11 Edition)

Wow, who would have ever thunk it?

A new FOX News poll shows how fickle either the GOTP is or how fickle FOX PAC is; suddenly Mittens Romney has come roaring back to the forefront when just a month ago Reverend Ricky Perry was pulling away in a FOX News poll. The current FOX News poll shows:

Romney 23, Perry 19, Herman “Pizza Man” Cain 17, Newter Gingrich 11, Ronny Paul 6, Jon Huntsman 4, Michele “Krazy” Bachmann and Ricky Santorum 3…

So, suddenly we have a new race with Mittens once again in the lead, stealing past Perry and barely leading – of all people – Herman Cain? Newt is hanging in the middle of the pack while Paul begins to slip and Huntsman begins a slow climb out of the cellar surpassing Bachmann as she slides to the bottom steps with Santorum.

No change to the last Iowa Caucus Poll – Rasmussen Reports dated 31 Aug 11 – Perry holds first place with 29; Bachmann moves to 18, Mitt 17; Paul 14; Cain 4, Santorum 4, Huntsman 3 and Gingrich 2…

In New Hampshire poll – Rasmussen Reports dated 21 Sep 11: Mittens 39; Rev Ricky 18; Paul 13; Huntsman 7; Krazy 5; Cain and Gingrich 4…

According to the FOX News poll if the general election were held today:

President Obama 45/Romney 42

President Obama 47/Perry 39

Unfortunately for everyone else in the GOTP race FOX PAC doesn’t think they matter … but, just so no one feels bad – or almost no one – I’ll leave the old poling up for the other six, from the latest CNN/Opinion Research:

President Obama 51/Paul 47

President Obama 54/Bachmann 42

President Obama 58/ Palin 37

These are the other guys that no respectable polling firm cares about any longer:

President Obama /Cain

President Obama /Gingrich

President Obama/Huntsman

President Obama /Santorum

Now, if the GOTP nomination circus – and the general election – had both ended today, Mittens would now be the GOTP candidate, and he would have lost by three (3) points to President Obama.

Two U.S. Citizens Have Been Charged With Starting Arizona Wildfire John McCain and FOX PAC Claimed Was Started By Illegals?

According to Reuters two cousins who allegedly left a campfire unattended have been charged with starting Arizona’s largest ever wildfire that torched more than 800 square miles of wilderness prosecutors said on Wednesday.

Caleb Joshua Malboeuf, 26, and David Wayne Malboeuf, 24, were charged with starting the so-called Wallow Fire on May 29, in the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest in eastern Arizona, the U.S. Attorney’s office said in a news release. The Malboeufs are United States citizens.

But wait just a minute, revered Republican Tea Party (GOTP) Senator John McCain – backed up by the “fair and balanced” folks of FOX PAC – claimed over-and-over the fire was started by illegal immigrants hiding out in the Arizona wilderness.

The Malboeuf cousins, both from southern Arizona, have been charged on five counts including causing timber to burn, leaving a fire unattended and unextinguished and building a campfire without removing all surrounding flammable material.

During June as several wildfires raged in the Mexico border state, McCain claimed there was “substantial evidence that some of these fires have been caused by people who have crossed our border illegally.”

McCain really needs to keep his pie hole shut on just about all things, and he really needs to think about retiring before he embarrasses himself beyond recovery – if that hasn’t already happened.

But McCain wasn’t alone in his claims as multiple FOX PAC personalities also made the same claim. Of course anytime anything happens you can bet FOX PAC will blame one of three parties, illegal aliens, Muslims or President Obama – we’re still waiting to see who gets the blame for Hurricane Irene.

FOX is not a news agency, it’s the propaganda wing for the GOTP and everyone knows it even if conservatives and viewers of FOX PAC won’t admit it. Clearly the reporting on FOX is becoming more-and-more inflammatory, biased and anything but fair and balanced.

Beck’s anti-Semitism drove him from the airwaves?

So, FOX PAC finally came to the conclusion Glenn Beck’s vitriol was even too extreme for its viewers, and that he was becoming too big of a liability? Well good for FOX, at least its proven it will only sell out so far.

With the end of the Bush/Cheney era of doom and gloom (which was a perfect breeding ground for Beck’s non stop Chicken Little hyperbole), and as the nation’s economic woes began to turn around, Beck’s apocalyptic conspiracies became less persuasive, and his audience began to drift away. With his followers beginning to drift away, Beck did the only thing he could, he became shriller and shriller. Ironically, it was his shrillness which ultimately led to his dismissal at FOX PAC. Of course, when you become too unhinged even for FOX it’s probably well past time to seek some serious professional help.

As Beckies cries became ever more high-pitched he pushed further into the dark corners of conspiracy, urging his viewers to hoard food and stock pile gold in preparation for the end of civilization as we know it, for the time when dogs and cats would be living together.

His deranged tales spun a wild conspiracy theory of the American left being in cahoots with an emerging caliphate in the Middle East. His rantings became filled with anti-Semitic themes backed by the infamous conspiracy theorist G. Edward Griffin – who has publicly argued that the anti-Semitic tract “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” “accurately describes much of what is happening in our world today”.

But Beckster’s anti-Semitic raves didn’t end there, he’s also described Reform rabbis as “generally political in nature,” adding: “It’s almost like Islam, radicalized Islam in a way.” He’s also regularly attacked Jewish billionaire George Soros, a Holocaust survivor, as a “puppet master” and read descriptions of him as an “unscrupulous profiteer” who “sucks the blood from people.” Beck falsely called Soros “a collaborator” with Nazis who “saw people into the gas chambers.”

On top of attacking Jews, he’s also repeatedly made comments about the President, claiming that President Obama, “has a deep seated hatred of white people,” and is a racist.

It’s all part of what Beck’s FOX PAC colleague Shepard Smith has dubbed the “fear chamber.”

Beck’s career is fast going the way of other broadcasting Dodos, and in losing his mass-media perch, he is following the same path as Father Charles Coughlin, a path that hopefully one day will also be trod upon by Savage, Limbaugh, Hannity and other have wits who regularly spread fear and hate over the airways.
