As it became clear Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential footnote Willard Mitt Romney had lost the election advisors said Willard was taken completely by surprise.

“He was shell-shocked,” one adviser reportedly told CBS News.
Clearly Willard and his staff were caught unprepared because they’d chosen to ignore polling showing swing state races favoring the President. Instead, according to CBS News, they foolishly relied upon their own so-called “unskewed” internal polling, which plainly were not only wrong, but wildly wrong and completely skewed.
Anyone honestly assessing the election knew Romney was never going to win, and for months I’ve predicted the election’s outcome up to and including the morning of election day; this is not rocket science, you simply have to be willing to evaluate the polling data honestly.
CBS News reported as it became clear Willard had lost the race and had to concede, his personal assistant, Garrett Jackson, called his counterpart in the Obama campaign, Marvin Nicholson, to connect the two men.
Romney reportedly appeared “stoic” as he talked to the president, as his wife Ann wept; running mate Paul Ryan seemed “genuinely shocked”, and Ryan’s wife Janna also was shaken and cried softly.
Meanwhile back at the ranch Timmy’s fallen down the well again and conservatives across the nation are in panic mode, mourning for their country as President Obama prepares for the next four years; Glenn Beck’s imploring his faithful listeners to move to the country with “like minded” people and to buy guns and ammunition because America’s “driving the righteous out” and “deserves to be destroyed”; Donald Trump’s calling for “revolution” while Sarah Palin’s “perplexed” and Rush Limbaugh’s “confused” as to how this happened.
It happened because your candidate sucked, and your party’s out of touch with reality. You sit in your bubbles watching FOX News and salivating over Rasmussen polling data totally ignoring all that’s going on around you. If the GOTP’s ever to become the GOP again it needs to pull its collective heads out of its fourth point of contact and look around, otherwise it’s destined to some day, in the not so distant future, to go the way of the Wig Party.

Former Secretary of State, and Army General, Colin Powell’s endorsed President Barack Obama for a second term, in a repeat of his endorsement from 2008.

“You know, I voted for him in 2008 and I plan to stick with him in 2012, and I’ll be voting for he and Vice President Joe Biden next month,” he said on CBS’ “This Morning.”
Powell praised the president’s handling of the economy and ending of the Iraq War.
“I think we ought to keep on the track we are on,” he said.
While Powell said he had the “utmost respect” for Republican Tea Party (GOTP) challenger Willard Mitt Romney, he criticized Willard’s so-called “tax plan”, his alleged “foreign policy” calling it a “moving target.”
“One day he has a certain strong view about staying in Afghanistan, but then on Monday night (last presidential debate) he agrees with the withdrawal,” the Secretary said. “Same thing in Iraq. On every issue that was discussed on Monday night, Gov. Romney agreed with the president with some nuances. But this is quite a different set of foreign policy views than he had earlier in the campaign.”
President Obama said he was “proud” and “humbled” to learn he has the support of former Secretary of State Colin Powell, “I’m grateful to him for his lifetime of service to his country both as a soldier and as a diplomat,” the President told a crowd of 15,000 during a campaign stop in Virginia. “And every brave American who wears the uniform of this country should know that as long as I’m your commander in chief, we will sustain the strongest military the world has ever known. We will be relentless in pursuit of our enemies. Those are promises I’ve kept.”
Secretary Powell’s a great American hero, and heroes do what’s right for their country even if it means bucking their party to support the right man for the job. Powell’s concerns about Romney’s forever changing foreign policy and never ending tax plan are well founded and any thinking voter should be just as concerned. Unfortunately, there seem to be a lot of voters who just can’t seem to be bothered with thinking.

According to various news reports, in another act of racism, a NAZI swastika was painted on the window of President Barack Obama’s campaign office in the Denver suburb of Conifer, CO late Thursday night, and the vandalism was discovered the next morning by building owners. This latest incident comes a week after a shot was fired into a window of Obama’s Denver campaign office.

In 2009 during a Tea Party rally held to oppose the stimulus package on the day Obama signed the bill, a participant waved a sign bearing a swastika in the “O” of Obama’s name. The sign holder had a picture taken with conservative anchor-baby Michelle Malkin and was reportedly on stage when then-state Senate Minority Leader Josh Penry (R-Grand Junction) spoke.
It’s sad that in America in the 21st century there are still individuals who think this is acceptable political speech; however, it appears to be the way ever more increasing numbers of the new Republican Tea Party (GOTP) think and express themselves. Vandalism, threats, signs along road ways with nooses, it’s all part of the party today; this must be part of what they mean when they say they want to “take the country back”, they just mean they want to take it back a hundred years or more, that’s all.

The United States Supreme Court decided to side with “We the People”, refusing to block early voting in the battleground state of Ohio, a ploy developed by the Republican Tea Party (GOTP) there in an effort to restrict voting.

The court refused the GOTP request to become involved in the dispute over early voting in the state on the three days before Election Day, something that’s always been allowed in the past, but which the GOTP decided needed to curtailed during this presidential election year.
President Obama’s campaign along with Ohio Democrats sued the state over changes in Ohio law designed to take away the three days of voting for most people saying nearly 100,000 people voted in the three days before the election in 2008. But hey, what’s a mere 100,000 votes amongst friends? Well, in a state where only 262,000 votes separated the President from John McCain in 2008 that’s a sizeable chunk of votes being potentially disenfranchised.
In a time when the Supreme Court has given disastrous rulings regarding election spending – aka Citizen’s United – this is a fresh breeze of liberty blowing into the current election cycle.

According to news reports, Republican Tea Party (GOTP) vice presidential footnote Paul Ryan’s accusing the President of treating Israel with “indifference bordering on contempt.”

“Look across that region today, and what do we see?” he said at the Values Voters Summit last week. “The slaughter of brave dissidents in Syria. Mobs storming American embassies and consulates. Iran four years closer to gaining a nuclear weapon. Israel, our best ally in the region, treated with indifference bordering on contempt by the Obama administration. Amid all these threats and dangers, what we do not see is steady, consistent American leadership.”
Of course the only problem with Mr. Ryan’s comments that the President’s treating Israel with “indifference bordering on contempt” is all evidence points to the contrary. In July the President released $70 million dollars to Israel in additional aid; in September the President gave Israel 55 bunker-buster 5,000 pound bombs and while under the Bush administration aid to Israel steadily declined to $2,424,000,000, under President Obama aid to Israel is on the rise once again $2,550,000,000 in 2009 and $2,770,000,000 in 2010 with continued increase expected through FY 12. The long and short of it is Paul Ryan’s a liar and he knows he’s a liar, he’s just hoping the majority of Americans don’t know or don’t care he’s a liar.

Republican Tea Party (GOTP) Congressman Allen West (aka Walter E. Kurtz), the former Army officer forced to “retire” after discharging his side arm next to the head of a prisoner he’d just told he was going to kill, has jumped into the fray over attacks on U.S. diplomatic posts in Libya and Egypt blaming President Obama.

Mobs rioting in Egypt and Libya, allegedly outraged by an anti-Islam film promoted by Quran-burning preacher Terry Jones fired rocket-propelled grenades in Libya at the U.S. Consulate, killing four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens.
Kurtz (West), who’s fighting for his Congressional seat in a tight race against Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy, is doubling down saying it was the Obama administration’s support for the Arab Spring uprisings that encouraged the attacks by “intolerant, barbaric, radical Muslims.”
“Americans need to question whether the deaths of these innocent patriots could have been avoided,” West claimed in a statement. “The Obama Administration touted the Arab Spring as an awakening of freedom, which we now see is a nightmare of Islamism.” West then repeated the already debunked lie that U.S. Embassy officials in Cairo “apologized” for the inflammatory film.
“President Obama’s policy of appeasement towards the Islamic world has manifested itself into a specter of unconscionable hatred,” West said, declaring the current events ranked with the Iranian hostage crisis, in which 52 Americans were held for 444 days in Tehran, starting in late 1979.
“President Obama has clearly surpassed former President Jimmy Carter and his actions during the Iranian Embassy crisis, as the weakest and most ineffective person to ever occupy the White House,” he said, of course failing to mention how under the President’s watch Osama bin Laden was killed along with scores of other top Al Qaeda and Taliban leaders – the ones the Bush Administration seemed either unable or unwilling to find.
West is soon to be a foot note in political history as a one term congressman who’s outlandish claims have included that the Democratic Caucus in Congress was filled with communists. He’s trying to score points out of desperation, and his latest crazed comments are proving once more how in the end, just as he was unfit to wear his country’s uniform any longer, he’s unfit to serve in the United States Congress.

Former ABC Monday Night Football songster and has been country star Hank Williams Junior’s apparently at it again repeating his anti-Obama tirade during a performance over the weekend bloviating, “We’ve got a Muslim for a President who hates cowboys, hates cowgirls, hates fishing, hates farming, loves gays, and we hate him.” According to the Dallas Sun, the crowd responded – big surprise – with a loud cheer.

Along with washed up rocker – and Vietnam War draft dodger – Ted Nugent, they’ve become the faces of the modern Republican Tea Party (GOTP), something to really be proud of. The party of Reagan has become the party of white racist homophobes – just another reason why I’m a Democrat.

It’s no surprise President Barack Obama’s beating Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential wannabe Willard Mitt Romney among African American voters, but what’s really surprising is how badly.

A NBC/Wall Street Journal poll has reported it’s by a staggering 94 percent to 0 percent; that’s worse than John McCain, that’s worse than any GOTP candidate ever, and that’s really saying something. Romney scored zero percent among Black voters – zero, nobody, nothing…
But wait that’s not all, the President’s also beating Willard among Latinos, voters under 35 and women.
According to a Hart Research Survey poll conducted in Virginia, Florida, Ohio, Iowa, Colorado and Nevada, women prefer President Obama to Romney 53% to 39%.
On top of that, 81% of the women said they were less likely to vote for Romney since he’s chosen Paul Ryan as a running mate, or that the choice made no difference to them at all.
The NBC/Wall Street Journal poll also shows the President has a commanding lead among Latino voters 63% to 28% over Romney.
So, can Willard Mitt Romney win the White House with no support among Black voters, 28% support among Latinos and 39% among women? Not likely, and the reinvention convention isn’t likely to give much of any bump to a campaign clearly lacking in likability.

Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential wannabe Willard Mitt Romney’s accusing President Barack Obama’s campaign of reaching a new low, according to press accounts, following Vice President Joe Biden’s remarks to supporters saying GOTP presidential candidates and GOTP lawmakers would put them “back in chains.”

It’s clear the Vice President was talking about the risks of letting Wall Street operate without strong oversight when he was addressing a rally crowd in Danville, Va.
He said Romney wants to get rid of new Wall Street regulations Obama signed into law after the financial collapse of 2008, “Unchain Wall Street. They’re going to put y’all back in chains.”
Willard’s spokeswoman, Andrea Saul, mewed that the Vice President’s comments are, quote, “not acceptable in our political discourse” and a, quote, “new low.”
At a later campaign stop in Wytheville, Va., Vice President Biden clarified his remarks, noting his “chains” comment was a nod to an earlier comment made by Paul Ryan that “a renewed commitment to limited government will unshackle our economy.”
It was a nice try by the Romney Campaign to try to turn the Vice President’s comment into something it wasn’t, but in the fashion we’ve all come to recognize, they mishandled this one too. If your new running mate has been talking about “unshackling the banks and Wall Street” for the better part of a year or more, you better know that before you stick your neck out and criticize the comments made by your opponents; it’s just one more case of not being ready for the big time.

President Barack Obama seems to have trumped Republican Tea Party (GOTP) presidential wannabe Willard Mitt Romney by announcing he’s releasing an additional $70 million in military aid for Israel the day before Willard traveled to Israel on the second leg of his so-called international trip.

But it can’t possibly be a big deal for Romney since he’s already said he’d do the opposite of everything the President’s done for Israel. So, logically one can assume Willard wouldn’t have given any additional monies.
The stepped-up U.S. aid, first announced in May, will go to help Israel expand production of a short-range rocket defense system known as “Iron Dome”, which has proved successful at stopping rocket attacks fired at Israeli civilians from close range, including from Gaza. The President announced the new military assistance as he signed a bill in the Oval Office expanding military and civilian cooperation with Israel.
The President said the bill underscores the United States’ “unshakable commitment to Israel.”
